Waheb received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Basrah, Iraq, in 2001, the Master of Engineering (with distinction) in Communication & Computer Engineering and PhD in Electrical, Electronic, and Systems Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia, in 2011 and 2015 respectively. He is registered as Charted Engineer (CEng) under the Engineering Council and IET, UK and a Professional Technologist under Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). He is also an IEEE Senior Member, and he served as chair of the educational activities of the IEEE-UKM Student Branch (2012-2013). Waheb is an MIET member of IET UK, and a member of IEM and BEM, Malaysia. He is currently an Associate Professor in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the College of Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, Birmingham City University (BCU), United Kingdom. His research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Networks, Mobile Communications, and Smart Sensors and Control. He also has a keen interest in Low Power Wide Area Networks such as LoRa Networks and NB-IoT. Previously, he served in different academic, research and administrative positions at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia that include: Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology, Research Fellow at the Centre for Software Development & Integrated Computing, Coordinator of Senior Design Projects for undergraduate students, and the Head of Advanced Electronics & Automation Research Sector. He also served as a Leader/Member of several research projects in the field of IoT and Wireless Networks and the author of many articles published in prestigious journals, including Experts Systems with Applications, IEEE Access, Sensors, Wireless Networks, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing and Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory. He also presented numerous papers at international conferences. Dr. Waheb has supervised and co-supervised four PhD, five Masters by research students and many undergraduate project dissertations. He has also been nominated as Internal Examiner for Master's and PhD candidates. He has registered four IPs (Patents/Copyrights) and received a number of Gold/Silver/Bronze medals and research awards from many national and international exhibitions for innovative research, invention & technology. He is an Editorial Board Member of several indexed peer-reviewed journals and he served as TPC chair/member in several international conferences. Waheb is a certified Peer Reviewer from the Publons Academy and serves as a Reviewer of more than 85 prestigious journals indexed by ISI/WoS/Scopus, including IEEE Transactions and Top Q1 WoS-Indexed journals from various publishers (IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, MDPI, etc.). During his PhD study, Waheb served as Graduate Research Assistant at the Centre for Research and Instrumentation Management, UKM, Malaysia. Before that, he served as Planning Director at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sana’a, Yemen. His industrial experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is supported by his six years as an Electrical Supervisor and Commissioning Engineer with Public Electricity Corporation, Yemen prior to awarding Fellowship and joining UKM for pursuing his postgraduate studies.
Dr. Wu is a pioneering researcher on digital transformation for driving traditional business to digital business/e-business transition. As a senior reviewer and special issue editor, he serves nine SCImago Q1 and A*/A in ABDC-listed Journals. A Q1 Elsevier journal awarded him "Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing" twice in 2016 and 2018.
Dr. Wu is also an internationally renowned consulting expert in leading interdisciplinary and industry-engaged research projects. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership, expertise, and innovation throughout his career, particularly in industry-engaged international collaborations. Over the past decade, he has successfully spearheaded more than ten large-scale international projects in partnership with Fortune Global 500 companies, prestigious universities, and various governments and industry stakeholders. His track record underscores his dedication to fostering meaningful connections in the global academic and business communities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras received his Diploma and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 1985 and the Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, NTUA, Greece in 1995, with honors. During 1990-2004 he collaborated as visiting professor and researcher with several universities and research institutes in Greece and Heidelberg, Germany (DKFZ). During 2004-2018 he has been with the Sterea Hellas Institute of Technology, Automation Dept., Greece as assoc. prof. in Digital Systems and Signal Processing, as well as visiting prof. of Hellenic Open University, Dept. Informatics in Communication Systems (2002-2010). Since 1/2019 is Associate Prof. in Digital and Intelligent Systems & Signal Processing, in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, School of Science, Dept. General as well as adjunct Assoc. Prof. Dr. with the School of Basic Sciences, BIHER University, Chennai, India, as well as with the GLA university, Mathura, India and EPOKA & CIT universities, Computer Engineering Dept., Tirana. He has published more than 80 research refereed journal papers in intelligent and distributed/multiagent systems, pattern recognition, image/signal processing and neural networks as well as in bioinformatics and more than 185 research papers in International refereed scientific Conferences. His research interests span the fields of intelligent & distributed systems, multiagent systems, pattern recognition and computational intelligence, image & signal processing/systems, biomedical systems, communications and networking as well as security and sustainability applications. He has served as program committee member as well as program/general chair at several international workshops and conferences in signal, image, communication and automation systems. He has been cited in more than 2500 research papers, and his H/G-indices are 21/51 (Google Scholar) and his Erdos number is 5. His RG score is 31.94, in the highest 10% of scientific researchers.
Prof. (Dr.) Raja Sarath Kumar Boddu presently working as a Professor, at the Faculty of Computer Science and Principal at Lenora College of Engineering with 22 years of experience in Engineering Education. Dr. Boddu has authored 5 books in Computer Science published 84 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international professional conferences and invented 7 Computer Science patents. Dr. Boddu is presently, pursuing a Post Doctoral Research Fellow, from the University of South Florida, USA. Dr. Boddu earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from IIM-Visakhapatnam, Ph.D., and a Master’s from Andhra University in Computer Science, Visakhapatnam, India. Dr. Boddu has supervised 17 PG and 10 groups of UG dissertations so far, supervising 3 Ph.D. students, Keynote Speaker at International conferences, and traveled 4 countries on research work. Dr. Boddu’s general research areas are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Big Data. Further, Dr. Boddu is a Fellow of IEI(India), a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and a Life Member of IETE, ISCA, and CSI. Dr. Boddu serves as a reviewer for Springer’s Journal of Supercomputing, IEI Springers, Hindawi, Tech Science Press, Information Sciences, and IEEE Access journals.
Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty, SMIEEE is an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India and and Post-doctoral fellow of Federal University of Piauí, Brazil. He worked at the Faculty of Science and Technology, ICFAI University, Agartala, Tripura, India as a Sr. Lecturer. He worked as a Research Consultant in the Coal India project at Industrial Engineering & Management, IIT Kharagpur. He worked as a Project Coordinator of the Telecommunication Convergence Switch project under the Indo-US joint initiative. He also worked as a Network Engineer in System Administration at MISPL, India. His main research interests include the Internet of Medical Things, Wireless Body Sensor Networks, Wireless Networks, Telemedicine, m-Health/e-health, and Medical Imaging. Dr. Chakraborty has published more than 150 papers at reputed international journals, conferences, book chapters, more than 20 books and more than 16 special issues. He is an Editorial Board Member in the different Journals and Conferences. He has served as a Publicity Chair member at renowned international conferences including IEEE Healthcom, IEEE SP-DLT. Dr. Chakraborty is a member of Internet Society, Machine Intelligence Research Labs, and Institute for Engineering Research and Publication. He received a Best Session Runner-up Award, Young Research Excellence Award, Global Peer Review Award, Young Faculty Award, Outstanding Researcher Award and also selected as one of the top 2% of scientists in the world in the field of "Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing," Stanford University, USA. He was the speakers for AICTE, DST sponsored FDP and CEP Short Term Course.
